As an SVG designer, I’m always on the lookout for smooth, cuttable fonts for crafters.
Since my customer base is mainly women with Cricut and Silhouette vinyl cutters, I tend to stick to trendy, cute fonts that are as easy to read as they are to cut.
It’s more of a challenge to find cute fonts than you’d think. Looking back on my designs when I started out, my fonts weren’t super smooth, and honestly, some of them were kind of ugly!
My word placement looked okay, but my fonts were all wrong. This made some of my designs look cheap and rushed, even though I put in lots of time to make them.
I was making sales, but it seemed like my business was growing slower than everyone else’s. Has this ever happened to you?
Discouraged, I started looking around Pinterest, and I found a link to a font by Missy Meyer. I INSTANTLY fell in love and rushed to buy it. Later, I found out that she’s basically the queen of cute fonts for Cricut.
4 of the fonts in this list are Missy Meyer fonts!
I used the font in one of my designs, and I started making sales on the design THAT SAME DAY. That had never happened to me before!
I started looking for similar fonts and quickly began buying them up. I miiight have overdone it a little, but my sales just kept growing!
Soon, I started making enough money through sales to pay rent, bills, start making college payments, and invest money back into my business.

It might be smart to bookmark this page, just so you don’t forget the names of the fonts you’ve downloaded. It’s hard to remember font names sometimes. Having a list of them bookmarked is super helpful and keeps them from being forgotten.
