I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE road trips.
When I was little sometimes my dad would pile us in the car and take us to some new town or cabin or random place his heart desired.
At the time, because I was a snotty teenager, I thought this was SO lame. All I wanted to do was go to the mall with my friends. But after driving for an hour or so I would be having so much fun that I forgot all about the mall!
These impromptu vacations taught me so much about love, fun, and family. I feel like I get my courage and sense of adventure straight from my dad! Even now I love to just hop in the car and see where the road takes me 🙂

family road trips!
Really though, as long as you are surrounded by family and people you love you will always be home! Although I wouldn’t say no to bringing along a bottle of Merlot too 😉
